Privacy policy

Lumen is self-custodial: your keys are generated and stored on your device, and we never have access to them or your funds. We collect minimal data — basic app analytics and crash reports — to keep the app working, anonymised where possible.

What we never collect

  • Your seed phrase or private keys
  • Custody of your assets
  • More personal data than the app needs to function

Terms of use

Lumen provides software to access public blockchains. You are responsible for safeguarding your recovery method and for the transactions you sign. The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind.

Acceptable use

Use Lumen lawfully and at your own risk. We may update the app and these terms; continued use constitutes acceptance.

Self-custody

Because only you hold your keys, only you can recover your wallet. If you lose your device and your recovery method, your funds cannot be restored by us or anyone else. Back up your recovery to your own cloud or hardware, and keep it safe.

Risk disclosure

Crypto assets are volatile and may lose value. Transactions on public blockchains are typically irreversible. Self-custody means you bear sole responsibility for securing your keys and recovery. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Figures shown are illustrative.
