Privacy policy

We collect the information needed to open and operate your account, comply with regulations, and prevent fraud. We never sell your data, and we share it only with the partners required to deliver banking services.

What we collect

Your rights

Terms of service

By opening an account you agree to use Meridian for lawful business purposes and to provide accurate information. Services are provided as described; we may update features and these terms with notice.

Acceptable use

No unlawful activity, no circumvention of controls, and no use that endangers the platform or other customers. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

Deposit terms

Meridian is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by our partner banks, Members FDIC. Funds are held at a network of member banks and eligible for pass-through FDIC insurance up to applicable limits.

Treasury sweeps

Idle balances may be swept into government money-market funds. Money-market positions are investments, not bank deposits, and are not FDIC-insured; yields are variable and not guaranteed.

Required disclosures

Meridian Financial Technologies is not a bank. Deposit and banking services are provided by partner banks, Members FDIC. FDIC insurance covers the failure of an insured bank, up to applicable limits. Treasury and money-market products are not FDIC-insured, are not bank guaranteed, and may lose value. Annual percentage yields are variable and reflect a trailing 7-day period. Figures shown across this site are illustrative.
